Petrified "fossils" on ovoid shapes are supposed to represent unidentifiable artifacts of a lost civilization that has disappeared from a sudden change associated with the loss of its natural environment. I deliberately generalized the shape as much as possible to a time-milled pebble and gave it the aforementioned "fossilized" structures that preserved an already obscure, long-lost epoch.
